Deborah Ann Klenzman creates oil or acrylic paintings of children, adults and pets. Unlike the faux paintings which are really only photo enlargements with a few paint strokes, these rich portraits are completely hand-drawn and hand-painted on stretched canvas or canvas board. Portraits are created from life and/or from a good quality photo. Paintings are done in a combination of realistic and impressionistic style. Please allow 8-10 weeks for completion of your painting.

Paintings are treasured works of art that last for generations. That is why protecting and caring for your painting is important. Keep your painting out of extreme temperatures as this may cause your painting to crack. Never place an oil painting behind glass. To protect the painting from moisture and air-borne contaminants, have the painting professionally varnished. This should be done no sooner that 6 months to a year after it has been painted in order for it to thoroughly dry. Progressive Portraits will be happy to varnish your painting free of charge.
